Tasty Quick Paneer Tikka masala

Tasty Paneer Tikka Masala Restaurant Style Recipe 

 Paneer Tikka masala is a traditional North Indian recipe which is rich in proteins and vitamin. Paneer is a good source of proteins and fiber so it’s good for health. Paneer Tikka Masala is the most delicious recipe which should be tried at least once for its amazing taste and aroma. 




Step by step process of preparing Paneer Tikka and Gravy masala. 

  •  Ingredients for Paneer Tikka: 

Mustard oil - 2 tbsp Gram flour/Beasan - 2 tbsp Kashmiri red chilly powder - 1/2 tbsp 

  • After Cooling Tikka Masala Add Below Ingredients: 

Jeera powder - 1/2 tbsp Garam masala - 1/2 tbsp , Pepper powder - 1/2 tbsp,  Chat masala - 1 tbsp, Salt - as per taste, Ginger & garlic paste - 1 tbsp ,Dried fenugreek leaves -1/2 tbsp, Curds - 4 tbsp, Lemon juice - 1 tbsp, Capsicum green & yellow - 10 pieces, Onion – 1 shelled,  Paneer - 200gms 

  •  Ingredients for Smoky Flavor: 

Water - 1/2 cup, Charcoal - 1 pieces (for smoky taste), Oil - 1/2 tbsp 

  •  Ingredients for Gravy: 

Oil -2 tbsp, Black Elaichi - 3 nos, Pepper powder -1/2 tbsp, Coriander powder -1 tbsp, Kashmiri chilly powder - 1/2 tbsp, Green chilies - 3 nos, Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp, Corn starch -1 tbsp, Sugar - 1/2 tbsp, Cream - 2 tbsp, Onion – 1 cup, Tomato – 1 cup. 

  •  Method to marinate Paneer Tikka: 

In a pan add mustard oil- 2tbsp and heat it in high flame till it releases smoke, off the stove let it cool for 30 sec. Add gram flour/besan powder - 2 tbsp and Kashmiri red chilly powder mix it well in heated oil once's all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed well set aside for 10 mines let it cool down.



 Now add to the same pan rest of the ingredients jeera powder -1/2 tbsp, garam masala -1/2 tbsp, pepper powder -1/2 tbsp, chat masala - 1 tbsp, salt as per taste, dried fenugreek leaves/kasthuri methi -1/2 tbsp, ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp, curds -4 tbsp mix it well. To the same pan add lemon juice - 1 tbsp, capsicum - 8 pieces, onion -1 shelled slowly add paneer pieces into same batter and mix carefully so that paneer is not broken into small pieces. Keep it aside for 10 mins let it marinate well.


  • Method to make the Tikka Smoky Flavor:

After 10 mins add some water if the mixture is too thick, keep a small bowl in the center and put one piece of charcoal which is pre heated add few drops of oil and close the lid for 1 min so that we get nice smoky flavor. After 1 min remove the charcoal piece from the pan. 


  • Two way to prepare paneer tikka:

 * On the tawa place all the veggies and paneer pieces and fry with 1 tbsp oil till it gets cooked for 4-5 mins.



 *Second method is to place the veggies and paneer into metal skewers and grill on the high flame.

 Remove tikka from metal skewers and place it on a plate.


  •  Method to prepare Gravy:

 In a pan add oil -2 tbsp, onion -1 cup chopped fry it till it becomes brown on medium flame, ginger garlic paste -1 tbsp and tomato - 1 cup chopped cook it well till the tomato is mashed and become soft this method increases the taste of the recipe. Add this mixture into grinder and grind to make paste let it not be too smooth paste. 
In a pan add oil -2 tbsp, black elaichi -3 nos, grinded mixture and cook it till it becomes thick and release oil, now add pepper powder - 1/2 tbsp, coriander powder -1 tbsp, kashmiri chilli powder -1/2 tbsp, green chilli -3 slits, coriander leaves -2 tbsp and leftover marinated tikka cook well till it releases oil. 
Now mix corn starch -1tbsp in water and add to the gravy it increases the texture of the gravy add grilled tikka into the pan, pour some water and mix well. Let it cook for 5 mins at last add sugar -1 tbsp to balance all the flavor and fresh cream -2 tbsp cook for 5 mins.



 Paneer Tikka Masala is ready to serve tastes good with rice, chapatti, roti or naan.
